Peanut Butter Everything Cookies

"I want cookies."

"I want cupcakes."

"I want cake."

My friends are so demanding =)

Originally, we were supposed to make the Sneaky Snickers Cookies, but after realizing we barely had a pile of snickers, it was time for a new plan!

We added some Twix and some M&Ms to make it a candy-filled cookie... super healthy, I know!

The cookies are nice and peanut buttery with just enough candy.

Although, how could you go wrong with more candy?

Recipe

1 stick butter, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
a pinch of salt
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 3/4 cup flour
1 cup of any candy -chopped

Using a mixer, mix butter, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, salt, and vanilla extract together until fluffy.
Add egg and mix.
Add baking soda and flour until just incorporated.

Add in the candy. Cover dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Scoop 1 tbsp of dough and roll into a ball.
Bake 10-12 minutes.

Less words this time around...life's school's picking up again. Womp Womp.

Here's an interview with Christopher Kimball and Bridget Lancaster from America's Test Kitchen. Not only are their voices soothing, but they talk about pie crust! Mmmmm!

[2] Naked post with no comments?! Not for long!!! I shall not stand for it.
[3] I hope you are womp-womp less currently.
[4] Your friends' demands serve you well because they only paint a more generous portrait of you. ;)
