Chunky Twix Cookies
Possibly the best cookies ever. Filled with the best candy ever.
I'm serious.
These cookies were gone in a matter of seconds. I have never seen cookies go so fast. They are the perfect mix of chocolate, caramel and gooey cookie-goodness.
If you ever want to eat five cookies in a row, this is the one to munch away on.
I am a huge fan of cookies. As opposed to cupcakes, which are pretty awkward to eat (Whose mouth is big enough to fit a cupcake? And why does frosting get everywhere?), cookies are perfectly sized and full of sugary satisfaction.
Cookies are the perfect after dinner dessert or a late night study snack.
Plus these cookies are full of chopped up Twix bars. Yumm! It seems any cookie with candy in it is destined for greatness (Snickers cookies to come soon!)
Here's the recipe: (Adapted from Sprinkled with Flour)
2 cups + 2 tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
12 tbsp butter, melted and cooled
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups coarsely chopped Twix (use mini Twix)
Preheat to 325°F
Happy baking!
