Peanut Butter Rice Krispies

Haircuts.

So traumatic. So horrible.

Ugh.

The entire experience makes me shudder.


When they cut my hair so short in second grade that it was above my ears... I cried. 


When I was in Taiwan a while ago, the person chopped all my hair off and declared it beautiful.   It was not. 


I'll admit, I went home and cried. Then I frantically sent all these crazy emails to my friends detailing the horror story. 


And that was the last time I'll ever get my hair cut there. 


Lessons learned?
1. Don't tell them how much you really want off... Always ask for less. They'll cut off more.
2. No. I do not want bangs. And repeat. 
3. Haircuts are no fun. Put off until the last possible moment. 


So this has absolutely nothing to do with Peanut Butter Rice Krispies...


...but that's okay. These rice krispies will, however, make you feel tons better if you've had a bad haircut. 

Lemon Cookies

Woohoo!! Freeeedom! It's the glorious end of the 3 weeks!


I'm super exhausted and my legs hurt from going to the gym after a week of inactivity.... sad?

I'm having writer's block. Blogger's block? Baker's block?


After a long day, my mind is mush. All it wants to do and all it can do is watch some happy TV and zone out.

At the end of the last exam cycle, I had these amazing lemon cookies from Maggianos. I'm a sucker for yummy desserts. Especially ones that don't make me feel like I just ate a stick of butter.

These cookies may look entirely different than the actual ones, but they are perfectly lemony and sweet!

Banana Bread

I had some of the best banana bread over the summer. 


Seriously.

A friend made this amazing banana bread for our "family dinner"/Big Brother viewing. 


SO GOOD. 


How good? My cousin, Em, and I scarfed down a mini-loaf of this banana bread... in under 2 
minutes. 


Wait. I mean we ate all but one slice. 

One slice, which we later divvied into thirds...


We didn't even think to share with the parents. Oops!
