Pepperoni Bread

Wow. I thought it was bad that I forgot about the Pumpkin Bars, but actually...I also forgot about this Pepperoni Bread.

My memory is getting worse each day...this bodes well for the future.

I could probably eat pizza for the rest of my life. Or I could eat pepperoni bread. Basically the same awesomeness in slightly different form. 


This was perfect for P's daily pizza cravings. 

Pumpkin Bars

Let's talk about something gross. Well, it creeps me out.


Em's got a little ant problem. And by little, I mean gross. 


Only one of the many downfalls of living in a dorm!


Sorry... I just can't do bugs. Studying parasites for GI? Pretty sure I got the shivers every time I read a sentence. So if anyone knows a good ant-be-gone solution, send them our way.

It was a birthday cake weekend -Velvet Devils Food Layer Cake with Coffee Buttercream Frosting.  


Normally, I'm definitely not a frosting person, but this coffee buttercream frosting was life changing. 


Too bad I forgot to take a pictureeee. 


Fail. Major. Fail.


So it's not a cake post, but Pumpkin Bars! 


Em and I made this wayyy back in pumpkin-holiday season.  And then promptly forgot about it until now!

It's super easy to make when you're craving pumpkin, but a pie is totally out of the question.  (Really, who has time to make a pie...)

Sorry we've been on a bit of a hiatus, but winter break has been full of seeing friends and family, sleeping insane [*necessary] amounts, and catching up on a little tv (...okay, a lot!) We all needed a bit of refreshing and recharging even after the holidays, right?

As we mentioned in the last post, this break we tried some new recipes courtesy of the ah-mazing America's Test Kitchen. Now I'll admit, I'm not a big fan of cheesecake...WHAT? Crazy, I know, but the crust is my favorite part! Anyways, M and mom lovelovelove the stuff so I decided to try my hand at making it this break!
